Dr. Scherlag is the Chief of Cardiology at Mercy Hospital since 2004 through present.
While at Duke University, Dr. Scherlag worked with the top leaders in the field of cardiology. Special attention was paid to the application of evidence-based medicine which entails using only those therapies rigorously proven to improve a person's quality of life. He now focuses on giving his patients the newest and best therapies available.
